WF Thundersnow

Built at the Canadian shipyard in Windsor Mills, Quebec, the WF Thundersnow was originally in service with the National Space Service. During a tour of the outer planets, there was a need for a rescue mission under the sea ice of Enceladus. The Thundersnow, being both close by and capable, was put to work - saving the lives of 18 scientists whose facility had lost pressure. The actions of the crew and the ship caught the attention of Gordie Noseworthy, head of the UN X-Oceanographic Institute, and he requested that Thundersnow become an official, and permanent, research vessel of the UN XOI.
