Tuesday Taylor Update - Getting back to normal...

Hey guys - I'm really happy to let you know that after not really touching the game for about a month, I'm slowly getting back into the swing of things and have started back up to working on the game. I started writing a little bit last week and I was able to spend a couple hours on the game tonight - I didn't realize how much I missed making this damn thing! I really appreciate all of those that reached out and expressed support and understanding over the past 4 weeks. I don't want to give too much personal detail away, but things have been really busy with my day job, and I needed to focus on that for a while.

Most importantly, thank you to the Patrons that stuck with me and continued your financial support of my game. Honestly, I expected to lose more Patrons than I did, I'm really happy that you guys are so understanding. I knew I wouldn't feel right accepting money from you guys last month, and you rewarded me with sticking with this. So THANK YOU for that. I can't promise you that something like this won't happen again, but I can promise you that I will only accept your donations while I'm working on the game. If I need to temporarily pause creating the game, I'll pause taking money as well. Simple as that.

As I restart the campaign, I also want you guys to know that I'm turning on the upfront payment option for Patrons. That won't impact any of my current Patrons, but my new Patrons will be charged their monthly pledge on the day they sign up. Obviously, this is to prevent people pledging money and not actually following through with the pledge. It hasn't been a huge problem, but it does happen a little bit every month.
