End of Year video: inception

Welcome to another Sunday night behind the scenes special. This week, there truly is no rest of the wicked or otherwise, because despite only wrapping up the YouTube cut of KFAD a week ago, I'm already waist deep in the end of year video.
It's genuinely difficult to believe its already approaching that time of year, but whether you want to admit it or not (I do not) I've spent most of this last week collating stories from various MMA news sites and seeing what makes the cut for 2025 gets Blownapart.
But wait there's more!
Because I've already written January's entire segment and put about 50% of it to video already! So yeah, considering I only started writing and recording process yesterday, that's some pretty good progress. I've even bought a tripod for my camera as I have some grand plans to do some outdoor recording for the intro to this one, which may or may not happen, I guess well see. Also depending on the outcome of Valentina's fight this weekend, the tone of the ending for this video could vary drastically
There's not a huge amount to share on the EOY video because realistically its about 6 minutes of video so not a whole heap to reveal to you just yet, but suffice it to say, work is well and truly underway.
In other news, the Fight Club video is shockingly, still monetized on YouTube. However it did get hit with a copyright claim on Thursday, which meant I had to remove the FFVII Hurry! theme from Death Sentences montage clip, so now on YouTube, that's just a full minute of silence while Death practices his 1 2 and plays Arkham City. Some people have said it actually makes it funnier, and I'm just gonna run with that notion. Speaking of Death Sentence, I don't know how Fight Circus managed to hold an event over a week ago and have still not even uploaded the damn thing, but apparently Death Sentence fought fucking Felony Charles Bennett of all people at FC Vegas. It actually went better for him than expected.
Lets be honest, this is the best possible outcome for him in this matchup.

Interesting fact (to me anyway) that none of the champions in the UFC Mens division are American which has to hurt American interest in the product at least. Add to that Dana is more interested in Bitch Slap Fighting. (Should he be replaced? And to that MMA becoming less of a mix of Arts and more its own style. I can see it being a very difficult year in 2026 for MMA in getting new fans. People still want to see IRL street fighter but we know get 200 Ryus
