Valentine's Day is celebrated all over (much of) the world, and we chose today for our first donation post, in recognition of all the love (and monetary support) that you, our Patrons, have shown us.
AniDB is a labor of love for all of our staff, and of all our contributing users. When our free hosting ran out, we were very concerned about the future of AniDB. However, the overflowing level of appreciation and support by the community has warmed our chilled hearts and gave everyone new hope. Thank you for your chocolate; Senpai has noticed you!

P.S. - Owing to everyone's support, not only were we able to save AniDB, but we were also able to upgrade some of our older hardware. One of our most expensive cron-jobs (server background tasks) used to take 4 hours to complete; it now it runs in 12 minutes. Thank you all for your support!
