Hello Patrons!
Wasn't sure if a post like this was super necessary, but I'm putting this up anyway for anyone that is interested in the iterative design process. Here we have two of the character designs I have previously placed in polls #1 and #2 for my upcoming fantasy project that I go to when I need a break from STELLAR INCOGNITA or 8 DAYS WITH THE DIVA. Well, #1 Thief was positively received but it was clear that there was room for improvement. #2 Priestess was given the seal of approval by you all, but I still think she needed a tweak. So:
* I've kept the long hair for the Thief, but changed the style. Looks like Ciri from The Witcher series and overall, I think it makes the character look more practical, but also more attractive. What I like most about Thief is I think she has distinctive facial features. Not everyone likes a pale redhead, but I'd like this game to cater to a wide range of preferences.
* The Thief's shoulder pads have been changed to something thicker and more combat-like, but this was a practical change more than a visual one. I noticed with the old shoulder pads, they would clip and distort when the figure was posed, so I needed to change that. It may change again.
* Oh, and I also changed her from a B/C cup to a D cup!!!
* Finally, minor change on Priestess. The staff she had previously was too "magicky" and I wanted something more church-like. Now she carries something more like a holy scepter but otherwise she is unchanged. I'm keeping the original staff she used for another character design.
