Furst Class report

Hello! I attended a Korean event called Furst Class as an artist guest, on July 12–13. I had such a blast there that I needed to take a little time to recover afterward. Sorry for the delayed update!

To all my Patrons, here’s a quick report to share. As promised, I’ll post the data for the new book (Korean version) in the next article.

Here’s the sales list for Day 1. Along with the new booklet, we also sold four acrylic standees I designed myself, and Munch plush. (Munch and Lord Darkdread are characters from the game Tribal Hunter.)

By the way, at this booth, I offered both cash and QR code payments (Toss & KakaoPay) as payment methods, and more than half of the transactions were made using the latter. I was surprised at how widespread cashless payments are in Korea!

At our booth, we also displayed a sample of the Lord DD plush made by Pawprint Press. He’s huge and handsome. The fact that can even dress-up is totally amazing. I love the full armor, and I also liked the tight black T-shirt, which can't hide his big belly! The round chest and chubby tail shape is also well made.🥰 This was my first time designing a plush, but the quality exceeded all my expectations! It’ll probably be more expensive than the Munch plush though. I think it will still be a while before it’s officially released, so please look forward to updates! (The latest updates will be posted at https://patreon.com/tribalhunter)

The acrylic stands we sold this time were manufactured in Korea. They’re simple in construction but good quality, and the cost was very reasonable. If I get a booth at Kemoket this fall, I plan to sell an improved version of the designs there. The new versions might be a bit more expensive. I also hope to make them available online (Booth.pm) in the future!

Another highlight of the day was getting to meet and talk directly with some of the Asian dragon artists I really respect. I also have great memories of eating delicious (and spicy) local meals at restaurants with my Korean friends. That was an amazing experience!

Day 2 was fursuit day. I also brought Ramuné to Korea and got to play with lots of adorable fluffy friends!
I had paid over 20,000 JPY round trip for excess weight baggage fees for Ramuné, so I needed him to work properly. However, during an interview on the stage, he was trying to greet the audience in Korean but forgot all of them for seconds. (but it looks cute in the picture🤣)
If you are interested in his photos and videos, please check out my X account!

And in the group photo, they even put Ramuné front row, that might be the first time in my 15 years of fursuiting activity.😆

On Monday we moved to Gapyeong by bus and visited a riverside watersports park called 빠지. We rode various inflatable boats pulled by motorboats, and it was a thrill I can’t really experience in Japan! At one point, someone next to me even flew off into the river from the centrifugal force, which gave me a surprise (we all worked together to rescue him safely).

That’s it for the report! It was such a fun summer break.🏝️✨

This was my first trip abroad in nine years. Traveling overseas regularly has become financially difficult now, but I’d definitely love to go again if I get the opportunity! Also, I was able to take this long-overdue break thanks to all of my Patrons who continue to support me. Thank you so much for your support!

Now I’ll be getting back to drawing again. And as mentioned, the data for the new booklet (Korean version) will be posted in the next article very soon, so please stay tuned!

I went to Singapore in December 2014! I remember being amazed by the sci-fi-like architecture. Thank you so much for supporting me since then🥰

It was a lot of fun to create tangible goods and sell them face-to-face again after such a long time! Please wait for the next update😉
