Words from cartoon historian and journalist Jerry Beck: "NICE! Milton. The first half (in rough) feel very "raw", rough and powerful. I feel like you are inventing a new animation art form. Using techniques from silent film.I mean this in a good way - this LOOKS like something Ralph Bakshi is always trying to do. But you are DOING it. I'm imagining an experimental (maybe abstract) musical soundtrack... work of art Milton..."
Renowned fellow cartoonist Mike Kazaleh: "Bravo! That was very evocative and a good character study."
WARNING: Cartoon scenes depicting the Domestic Violence I grew up with.

2025-06-17 08:24:26 +0000 UTCWhat a delight! I can't see anybody else doing anything that looks or feels like this. Nobody else could, it's 100% your specific sense of form, movement, distortion, logic and reality. You're truly working in your own idiosyncratic cartoon and film language here and I love to see it. This is shaping up to be a real gem!
