End of June Update!

Hey everyone, took a lot longer to get the finishing touches for the cage than I hoped (frustratingly, one of the smallest items took the longest to get delivered xD) but I've finally decorated the cage and here's a bunch of pictures I took while doing so!

Though, while I was laying out the blankets, Tilly suddenly took an interest! This is the most involved she's been with anything to do with the ferrets since LadyShelab got her. Perhaps it's a sign that she's warming to the idea of bouncy fuzz noodles and we'll see some videos with all of them playing in the future? :D

But here's the finished project; complete with all the essentials. Toys, blankets, litter trays and plenty of water (because my office gets fairly warm xD)

I want to say thank you again, for all your support. All the toys, bedding, bells & whistles here were bought thanks to the support from my Patreons, and I couldn't be happier to have the girls bouncing around the room dooking excitedly. Though I had to move my room around a little bit, we now have a convenient table to mount a ferret cam for those streams where we need an extra dose of cute, so that's a nice bonus!

But that's not all...

As many of you are aware, I had a few trips away from home this month, connected to my YouTube channel or Twitch. And it made clear that while I can keep up on social media using my phone, anything more involved (such as managing my uploads, editing video meta data, etc) is so far too fiddly. Which meant in addition to a massively inflated work load ahead of a trip (getting a backlog of videos) I was basically cut off for anything work related until I got back.

With more trips away scheduled (sorry, can't talk about them yet, embargos are an annoying but necessary evil in the industry!) I needed some way to take the stress out of the weeks leading up to any trip, and ideally, to let me continue doing a bit of work while away. So, since I was already looking into building a streaming PC to allow me to stream (and record) using a dual-PC setup, I decided to bite the bullet and solve two problems at once by buying a laptop.

This one's a much larger expense than I was budgeting for this month (or for the next several months, in fact xD) but it will open up a lot of new options for me going forward. Not only will it double as a stream/recording PC while I'm at home, but when away it's powerful enough to not only work on all the admin attached to my channels, but even continue to record and even stream by itself. Which will take a huge amount of stress off me ahead of particularly long trips away from home, as I won't have to build up quite as large a backlog before I leave, given I'll be able to top up the footage on the go!

Needless to say, this would have been entirely outside the realm of possibility without your support.
