Game Poll – Roguelikes!
Added 2018-08-02 01:07:45 +0000 UTCSo I've had about 2 weeks to check over the suggestions from my previous post requesting ideas for roguelikes to replace Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead.
Firstly, thank you so much for all the awesome suggestions! I had a lot to work with, but one thing I noticed was that there were many suggestions for games that, while they had some Roguelike elements, I felt were not Roguelike enough. Such as Rise of Ruins.
As a result, instead of simply discarding these games from the poll, I decided to create a shortlist. The poll on this post is a list of Roguelikes I feel would be a great follow up to C:DDA and would scratch that Roguelike itch I mentioned. So please cast your vote and we'll see the new series start soon!
The shortlist below includes games that were suggested, that I'm interested in checking out (or revisiting, as the case may be) but I don't have a specific time planned for these series. More of an as-and-when kind of thing. If I find myself down a series then I can dip into this list for ideas first!

2018-08-03 19:37:35 +0000 UTCI really hope Dungeons of Dredmor or MidBoss wins. As much as Keeper RL and Caves of Qud are great games they both would feel like another DDA with the style and gameplay.
