Heyo again... two posts in one day?? How can anyone live at this speed?!? XD

But we're at a pretty exciting point in our colony's journey. Our characters have been through a lot—from surviving mech attacks and enraged insects to dealing with unexpected new arrivals—and now they've reached a moment where they can further define their beliefs. As with the ideoligeon setup, I want to welcome you all to help decide how the colonists' beliefs develop, as this will have a significant and ongoing effect on the colony's narrative!

With help from the comments on the latest episode, I've narrowed down five possible directions that feel true to the story so far, each impacting how the colony interacts with their beliefs and the world around them. Here are the options:

• Supremacist (Low Impact) - "Our people should dominate all others" - Our colonists believe in their superiority, striving for dominance and power. They see themselves as the necessary stewards for any world they step on.

• Collectivist (Low Impact) - "Each person is part of a greater whole. People should work to play their part and help the group" - The needs of the many outweigh those of the few. The colony thrives on teamwork, shared goals, and communal living.

• Proselytisation (Medium Impact) - "It is our duty to spread our beliefs" - The colonists feel a growing urge to share their faith with others. They see conversion as an essential mission and actively work to bring new arrivals into their fold, believing their way is the path to enlightenment.

• Transhumanism (Medium Impact) - "Human progress means merging with technology" - Our colonists believe that humanity's future lies in enhancing themselves through technological means. Inspired by our mechanitor's expertise, they see cybernetics and bionics as the next stage in evolution, merging the organic with the mechanical to achieve greatness.

• Tunneler (High Impact) - "Humans ought to live underground and enjoy the succulent fruit of the depths" - The colony has spent significant time expanding into the earth, and they've come to revere the underground as a place of safety and prosperity. They believe that following the example of the insects is the path to proper balance in this new environment.
