Your Thoughts on Approach to the Playable Build

Hi dear patrons!

I'm working hard every night to bring you all a playable development build of Loverbend.

That said, I'm debating between two approaches to do it - I'd like your thoughts on what you'd prefer!

Option 1 is that I spend a lot of time polishing the art for everything playable in the playable development build. Characters, backgrounds, items, etc.. Things will look more polished, but updates will be slower and smaller. I'm a faster writer and programmer than artist, after all.

Option 2 is that I let the art be less polished (good enough, rather than finalized), but because of this, I can make bigger updates and faster updates due to being a faster writer and programmer. I'll still make sure it looks good, but I'll cut some corners to get more time for creating more content. I'll also eventually revisit the art to polish it up.

Both options will eventually lead to the same level of polish, it's just a question of the speed at which the playable build develops.

Thanks again!
