New series password
Added 2023-09-05 20:13:23 +0000 UTCHi everyone! I’ve been working on a new series of paintings based around wildlife and animals as prey/ predators. Originally when starting Pitch Canker I wanted to have the page revolve a really gruesome cottagecore/ forest vibe, which is why I chose the name Pitch Canker. Pitch Canker is a fungal disease that kills evergreen trees, and I thought that encapsulated what I was trying to do. Needless to say the page took a very different direction, but my love of the outdoors remained. So this series is a tribute to a very different part of my journey.

I’ve been trying to do physical paintings once every few months! I used to work exclusively in acrylic and vinyl paint before I went fully digital. There’s just something about physical paintings that express a different type of visceral feeling.
Either way excited about this new series! Always looking for suggestions on future paintings or piece ideas.
