And here we are! This is our final post for this update, and we might as well throw in a few previews!

Current numbers:
Lines of codes: 4756
Renders: 696
Animations: 14
Music & SFX: 79

I estimate the update will have at least 6k lines of codes and 900 images, probably even more. If we can keep this pace up, we'll see the beta phase around June. That said, I don't want to rush the final parts to get the update out as soon as possible, so we are also looking at early July.

But rest assured that I'm working at my full capacity, with a considerable rest, of course.

Now, let's talk about a few insights regarding the update.
The topics and scenes will most likely hit your core as a human being, and I don't want to leave you all shell-shocked and PTSD-ed after playing this update, so I really suggest preparing before playing it, especially for those who haven't played Sicae or are not much of a fan of it.

Regardless, I really find the update beautiful. It still provides a good balance between dark and lighter scenes.

This update will also spoil half of Sicae's main plot. However, we'll return to Sicae after this to tackle the same topics, so there's no need to worry about it.

All stuff that needs to be ported is already done; all that is left is to write a proper ending to Chapter 1 and render everything.

A FAQ: Is MBML ending after Chapter 1?
No, not yet. For future reference, there's one more chapter waiting, and it will likely have 6-7 episodes compared to Chapter 1. During the early episodes of Chapter 2, we'll give the main plot a rest and go back to developing our characters since that's what this game is all about and is focused on: the characters. I'd like to dig deeper into a few main girls' cores and open up the rest that's not properly featured yet. That's our next goal during Chapter 2. But we'll leave the full discussion to all that later.
