2025-08-26 15:08:08 +0000 UTCI do like Kurisu much more than Mayuri but the thing is that for Okabe she's basically his little sister/best friend who he cares for a lot. So from Okabe's POV taking all of the "good things" that happend to Rukako, Feyris, etc. and sacrificing Kurisu is "justified". However it's also not like it isn't a painful decision for him. Kurisu had to help him deciding her own fate and the other characters also agreed with his decison when they learned that Mayuri is going to die otherwise. And there's also the fact that SERN takes over the world in the timeline where Mayuri dies.

The best watch order is: Steins;Gate episode 24 Steins;Gate episode 23B: Divide by Zero OVA Steins;Gate 0 episode 1-23 Then go back and watch the other OVAs and the movie (Steins;Gate 0 episode 24, Steins;Gate episode 25, Steins;Gate: Load Region of Deja-vu)
