Mushoku Tensei EP 3 Reaction

Rudy has got a LONG way to go!

Comments

noticed you skip op. almost all the ops in season 1 are purely world building. sometimes even talking and dialog, Heck I remember the pilot episode if you skip op you end up in baby scene and don't even know how it opened. I know you're like 9 episodes in now but i hope you figured out not to skip ops quickly.

Adam

Season 2 part 2 is the only OP you absolutely need to skip because it is very spoiler heavy

Unfortunate

Fun fact, the song in the intros change a couple times, but I want you to figure out on your own why it happens.

Skipping that intro felt like a kick to the balls

Lmaooo chillih. The "oooh" and the immediate realization how that's going to be taken

Rudeus was probably remindend of his bullying in the past when he saw the kids throwing stones at Sylphy. When he shouted at them you can see that he didn't even look at them because of his lack of confidence in that moment. But despite that he still rescued Sylphy from them, which, I think was pretty brave of him. Also, yeah this show is often times very relatable, sometimes to an uncomfortable degree. It's definitely the most "realistic" anime that I've seen in regards to characters and how they think or act.

As others have said, the "openings" in season 1 are basically just part of the episode, and should be watched as they come up.

I really enjoy how much you are resonating with the personal themes on family and relationships so far. Share as much as you want! There will be uncomfortable moments, but learning to navigate them maturely is a part of life and growing up

S1 openings are integral to the story, just music playing alongside the characters' normal journeys in between episodes. No spoilers. Once you get to S2 is when it goes back the normal anime opening format, but I would heavily consider watching the openings with the episode and use them to talk while you watch, etc.
