Slight spoiler about the topic of the newest Monogatari novel: So appearently the Kaiki chronicles now do (kind of) exist. The most recent novel that released in October is about the time when Kaiki, Oshino Meme, Gaen Izuko and Kagenui were part of the same club and about the creation of Ononoki. I didn't read the novel and I think it's not fully translated yet but I heard that it's set shortly after the death of Gaen Toe. It seems to be narrated from the perspective of Oshino and Kaiki.

2025-12-02 06:11:22 +0000 UTCJust wanna say: PLEASE make sure that when you get to Off & Monster Season, you watch the blu-ray version using the MTBB subs (the ones you have been using). The reason I point this out specifically is because most people seem to still default to the originally aired version on Crunchyroll, which is literally missing 2 whole openings fully, and the subtitles it uses are not only clunky but also have full on mistakes. Additionally, especially the second half of the season got A LOT of visual improvements in the blu-ray version.
