The master watching the teletubies is a reference to a story with the 3rd doctor and the original master whenβre he watches a kids show from the 70s (the Klangers) and thinks itβs a documentary about aliens. π

2024-10-10 13:41:14 +0000 UTCJust watched it for the first time and loved this episode and how it sets up a big finale episode. I really hope we will see Martha shine and save the world in now! Now I wonder, as this was earlier, did Marvel get the idea of the Helicarrier by watching Dr. Who..?

2024-10-09 08:48:45 +0000 UTCSuper fun reaction. RTD (showrunner of this era) really knows how to cook up a hype finale. I love that Jack and The Doctor both immediately send Martha out, no hesitation. Looking forward to the finale!

2024-10-08 20:03:29 +0000 UTCI think it was Blind Wave where one of them said "ugh, i hate when people use the word decimate wrong" and then The Master immediately gave the correct definition and they were like "my bad" haha

2024-10-08 17:53:24 +0000 UTCIn your (edited) reaction to the Torchwood episode "Captain Jack Harkness" you seemed to miss (or at least didn't mention) the "Vote Saxon" posters hanging outside the dance hall. I didn't point them out back then to avoid spoilers. But I think that that was a great way to connect the two shows and to remind the viewers of both shows that this Saxon guy would be someone to look out for.

2024-10-08 15:07:42 +0000 UTCThe original plan back in the 70s was to reveal the Master as the Doctor's brother, but it didn't work out. So good catch - that line was a reference to people still theorising it today! They work much better when they're basically written as jilted ex-boyfriends anyway
