2025-01-30 18:25:29 +0000 UTCThe popular expression for Stark and Fern shipping is "Stern", because a ship has a stern :D I love how it makes sense that they are both so adorably awkward about it. They are teens and Fern especially, grew up with a priest, in the middle of a forest and then followed Frieren. Both of those not a good way to learn interact with boys (or people). She might give off a certain vibe, because she doesn't know how to express herself, which then comes off as standoff'ish. Stark is also so insecure in general, so he interprets her signals as if she dislikes him sometimes. Yet when he saw her being uncomfortable while they danced, he took charge and led her through it, which made her feel better and get into it.
