Harem in Another World Devlog #57 A mountain of my own making

First estimate of a release date is the end of August. Early days so it might get pushed back further but that fits in line with my normal 3 month schedule.

May have bitten off more than I can chew with this update. Currently v0.9 is planned to add more content than the last two major updates combined! There's just so many bits I'm excited to add! We'll see how it goes, if parts need more time I'll push them into the release after. I want to make sure everything gets enough time to be fully built up to where I want it to be.

Just finished the very first playthrough of the new story content, far from being ready yet but mechanically it's now all in place and working.

Making some QoL improvements to earlier parts of the game as well. For instance I've changed how Maria's first quest with the letter works so you can no longer miss the scene, instead you have a choice to do it or not, bringing it in line with how other scenes are handled. I've also added a skip option to Galiath's scene. I don't know why you would ever chose to skip such a hot scene, but including the option makes it more consistent.

I've also changed it so you can repair the east wing of the castle before starting Orla's questline. You need to build the east wing as part of Elsy's story and as an unintended consequence, it meant you had to progress Orla's to progress Elsy's, even though they were not intertwined. This should separate them so one doesn't hold up the other.

I've changed the inventory icons to look nicer and more interesting, and I've also changed a number of quests so once they are completed, the relevant item is removed from your inventory. That should make it is less crowded with things you don't need anymore.

I have also, once again, reduced the number of scorpions in the desert. I think back on how it was when it was first implemented, with around 5x the number of scorpions and they could move faster than you, I don't know what I was thinking back then!

Having some issues with animation once again, just can't seem to find consistent workers to join the project and stay on. Running a number of test pieces with new ones at the moment so should hopefully be able to get that all started up again soon.
