Millennial Movie Mondays - 60's

I'm getting comments on how I'm picking the movies for these polls - this is a mix of titles I've been sent multiple times, titles mentioned in the chats/comments that many people seem into, and also a quick google of "Top Movies from _____"

I can't fit alllll the watchable films from a decade in one poll - and also I've seen a few from the 60's like James Bond, 2001 Space odyssey, Dr. Strangelove, The Producers, Mary Poppins, The Graduate, Guess Who's Coming to Dinner - so here is the list from the 60's and hopefully they are a good mix of genres.

Pick your favorite!

Considering all the razzing Ashleigh gets about her accent and how she pronounces words, I had to go with My Fair Lady.

CinWin

Chitty Chitty for the Child Catcher... Lolipops!

Adam Sanford

This one was really hard. I think she would like the Italian Job the most of all the movies one the list... of course it is in last place. I prefer My Fair Lady over Sound of Music. I still hope she get to watch the OG Planet of the Apes. Chitty Chitty Bang Bang... as much as I like singing the song... I don't love the movie.

TravizzivarT

Oof, I canโ€™t decide between Planet of the Apes and Chitty. I must have watched Chitty far more than Sound of Music when I was a kid just for the โ€˜music boxโ€™ scene.

Chelsea

Delighted to see that Sound of Music is winning. I pre-apologize for it being like maybe 45 minutes too long? I would trim a lot of that movie if I was the editor ๐Ÿ˜‚ but itโ€™s a wonderful, wonderful movie and you will LOVE IT

Not a fan of The Sound Of Music. I voted planet of the apes as I've wanted this one for a while. Ashleigh please keep breakfast at Tiffany's on your list it has a young George Peppard aka Hannibal from The A Team as a main role. Also very humorous

Mr Marvelous

Come on, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is a right of passage for everyone!!!!!

AnnMarie Mills

A suggestion for the Joe Don Baker Memoriam poll: Cape Fear 1991.

Vincent Perrone

umm I pick ALL of these, love almost all of them, The Sound of Music and The Birds are my top 2 here tho! Can't believe you're doing Buffy, Jurassic Park, and now The Sound of Music?? All part of my all time faves
