The temple beast (CR 5) fervently offers to heal the wounded and even offers its home to safely restβprovided it can control its violent urges and be the helpful guardian it so desperately wishes to be. Disquietingly designed by Joseph McCleave, illustrated by Ali Parlagi, and featuring the cartography of Dyson Logos.

Aye it is. "Interesting Scenarios" doesn't have quite the same ring to it though. π Seriously yes, I'm keen to drop this into a game soon.

2024-05-29 02:47:34 +0000 UTCThis is an interesting scenario because the beast may be helpful despite its nature. My current party would probably spend at least one session trying to figure out how to help the beast be more what it wants and less what it's nature suggests.
