descartes.fans - beta launch
Added 2022-03-08 04:19:21 +0000 UTCI've promised you all a website with access a full gallery of my work. Today I'm launching the beta version of that website, which you can access at http://descartes.fans
Access code (available only to FANS) will change on a roughly monthly cadence (accompanied by a blog post announcing the new access code.) This means that even if you signed up for 20 minutes, you'll still get a month of access, which I think seems fair.
Current access code is NS3PX
Things I'm still working on (in no particular order):
- Uploading content (there's a lot to go through.)
- HTTPS
- General bug fixes
- Making the site more mobile friendly
- ✔️ A working download link (I'm not intentionally blocking downloads.)
I'll be going through slowly and adding image IDs to each post. Once you're in the gallery, there's a sidebar on the right where you can paste an image ID and it'll take you right to that image (if you're looking for the full version of a particular work.)

The link works in that it takes me to another page, but the image never loads there either. I can copy the cat link and go there directly, but that page times out.

2022-03-08 06:08:56 +0000 UTCCongratulations, that sounds good. I know how much work goes into a project like this. But once it's created and only needs constant updating, you're glad you did the work. After all, you don't do it primarily for yourself, but for your fans.
