Time for my two cents LOL losing your significant other so traumatically and then have the time travel, seeing this a**hole (Ohm) again, I understand Jom's actions. He can't differentiate at first. Jom feels compassion for her later, which I'm SO glad he did, but Saen's actions at the market show that whatever era, he's a jerk. Once Jom is under Yai's roof, I hope things will relax, but this IS drama after all?

I'm reading people talking about the irritation with the Jom character, but this is the feeling you're in another time .The anxiety he is feeling is being perfectly demonstrated, not knowing if he will return, the anxiety, insomnia, fear and sadness, put yourself in this character's shoes and you will understand him Not to mention that all people in this serie speak different language with Jom. Foreigner who not know Thai and read Eng sub might not notice and can't tell the different. But only Jom who speak Thai modern style. Khun Yai and his mom speak Thai ancient style and all of those people and servant talk in northern dialect in ancient era style. Jom try to fit in like he tell Khun Yai but it's take time.

if the future and the past are connected what happened to Jom in the future it could be his karma. I am not telling he deserved it. I think he just wanted getting back his ex and ex's lover. and I think Ming is gonna get a heartbreak. his crush and Robert's first wife will be in love soon.

Yep, it was a lose-lose situation.
The genius idea to use same persons to portray different characters gives the full impact of the conflict. Ohm and Saen are totally different and I felt so sad for Saen because is was suffering has much as Jom in front of Ohm.
But, since they are portrayed by the same actor, how many people are going to let down the pain of Saen ? A lot because they still want a revenge for Jom (the 2023 one, not the 1920).
Women were nothing in the 1920s in western countries, did you imagine in Asia ? The rape we'd seen was not a rape in the 20s, she belong as a object to her master-husband. Even today, it is still unfair in western cultures. Let's us not start with LGBT+...
For knowledge, in this period, the actual province of north-west Thailand were an semi-independant province, the ancient kingdom of Lan Na, with 3 regions: Chiang Mai, Lampang and Lamphun.
End of history preview, do your research, be curious.

I don't like what Jom did, but we have to put this in perspective. He's new to THIS world where most of the people he encounters are people that seem familiar to him in his world. People he loved, were friends with and people who hurt him. I can understand that conflict and the knee jerk reaction to get back at them, before thinking of consequences. I do agree with Lom when he said the blame isn't all on him. They also made choices. The girl when she decided to go meet him on the pier knowing she was in a house where some of the servants don't like her. With Jom, the accusation would still have been a thing. Jom's plea to the water (powers that be) to let him go home, I felt it! I'll give him a pass this time.
Am I getting how servants work, wrong? Isn't Jom, Yai's servant? Not the Asshole's? Aren't the "houses" two separate houses? Just this one detail is giving me so much anxiety!

I get Jom... The only reason he spoke the truth was because he saw his ex's face...i would have done the same thing...

I think what Jom did was neither wrong nor right based on his perspective. in the novel the character is like that. he didn't know if he wanted to be a good person or vice versa at that moment. he still needs time to fit in with reality. we can see in the last scene where he accepts and is ready to let go of his past (present time)

Jom is still traumatized from the breakup. Having PTSD from a VERY bad relationship, I understand, honestly. I agree with Renato, it was a lose/lose situation. The scene between Jom and Ohm in the store really hit me, so well done. And Kun Yai is falling first, and Jom will fall WAY harder! 💕
Plus I have to tell you, you saying Robert must be murdered, I spit out my soda! 🤣 there are a few of them I'd like to whack! And I'm reserving judgment on James for now, just don't know about him 🤔

I understand Jom being upset but by episode four, I hope it really sinks in deep that he’s far from his old life.

Jom's situation was not good at all. In this case with him telling the truth we had this horrible unfolding, and if he lied and Robert discovered something horrible could happen to him also (as Ming already warned him many times). There was no way to win in this whole story. AND YESS THE DRUNK SCENE IS NEXT EPISODE, I’M DYING
