I think Yeong su's approach to the dinner was to make Go young hate him ,so that it was easier to walk away.....and the look on his face when go young was attacking him, you could see that he was overcome with emotion ,but was attempting to hide them.

I couldn’t feel an ounce of sympathy towards Go Yeoung up till the end of the episode when he was in the park with his mom
It was over for me when he outed YS. It’s one of the most vile and violent things a person can do to a queer person, he knew what kind of things can happen when you’re outed, YS was visually unconfortable and yet he outed him. For me, personally, that was the turning point for YS, who went from lovey dovey to detached quickly. And I said that because I would probably react the same way if my partner chose to out when I was not out yet, I’d immediately feel detached, “out of love” and wouldn’t be able to trust and love him. The relationship would be over. He was kinda pushy with the whole being out and tried to ambush him several times. It’s ok to not want to date a closeted person, it’ not okay to do that
That being sad, it doesn’t excuse YS behavior and him being a complete a-hole on the breakup scene. At least it’s over, they were mutualy terrible for each other this whole episode.
But I like the fact that I dislike (and sometimes despise) Go Yeoung). I prefer a grey protagonist that can be a fckup sometimes too
Btw, I also don’t like the friend group yet 😂 idk they are never there to the important stuff, they don’t keep him in check, they just seem to appear to be judgemental about the love interest of the moment and that’s it. I miss my girl, she was a real one
