MAXIMS

The most environmentally friendly product is the product that’s left on the shelf.

“It’s what we’ve always done” is a terrible reason to hold on.

The land of Too Much is inhospitable.

The solution is the problem.

If minimalism gets in the way of your artistry, declutter the minimalism, not the creativity.

You can’t consume your way out of misery, but you can create your way into joy.

The opposite of retail therapy is fearless generosity.

Consumption is not the problem; consumerism is the problem.

"ordinary soil" - I will defintely visit the site for more insight. it reminds me of the Permaculture movement and an article by Russ Grayson. the key to a philosophy is communication. Russ stated in his article: "A source of knowledge, a means of recruiting people and a means of communication are the three components of any idea which wants to spread and multiply itself." I hope we can let Nature do her work - she does wonders when left alone, has such a regenerative power and is so good in creating solutions.

I think the reason the whole thing with Milli Vanilli was so shocking is because back then we had good music. Now, everything is fake. Even reality TV. It would not be as surprising today as it was then.
