Alice Quinn Edit
Added 2018-02-26 21:12:28 +0000 UTC-DW, I'm going to get at least 2 speed edits up before the end of the month. I know everything's coming in the last minute but boy the start of the year is so busy! I'm just hoping I can finish Rei and Dva in time for the con :(
As for the edits:
-First off, I used the liquify tool A LOT. I took the original photo at the wrong angle and flipped the pose!! I had to flip just my body, blend it back into my neckline and then resize me! I used the pucker tool to shrink my head and shoulders so it didn't look so close up to the camera, then lengthened my legs a teeny bit and made my feet bigger so they didn't look far away from the camera. I know it's hard to tell in the original photo, but it was taken from a more upward angle rather than straight on (meaning my feet looked farther away and my torso/head was closer to the lens). Trust me, this slight difference in angle looked bizzard as heck on the background!
-After that was done I just had to add a layer mask so parts of the background would appear where I needed them to. This background was a thing I found online (I honestly can't remember where--it was through google and the place it linked to was some random thing so idk who did the editing to remove Alice--this background is one from the promotional photos).
-I also removed the yellow tones because even with studio lights everything was super yellow >.> and did my usual skin retouching and eye color change.
-Oh! I also removed the lens glare from the glasses. I should've taken out the lens ;n; But I didn't! So now there's a lot of photos where I need to edit that out (either by the patch tool or copy, flip and pasting my eye from the other side without a glare xD).
