The development of Northern Ruby Island, part II

Hiya guys, TAD here back again, once again! Today, I'll be going over how the second part of Northern Ruby Island is going to look! Keep in mind that our planning is made in such a way that these things are all going to be worked on in 2022! For our planning for the first half of Northern Ruby Island, which we'll be working on the remainder of this year, you can read the previous post. :3

Now then, we're at the point that Puck, Blair and Luna are fully implemented and functional. That still leaves us with the other half of Northern, which will cover felines from some popular cartoons. ^^ Keep in mind all screenshots are taken from the demo of Northern Ruby Island, which you can play over on e6 if you have a way of running Flash games in 2021.

Now then, our first feline is this cutie-pie:

I think most people should be able to recognize her. :3 Like Medea, Gracie and Puck, she's the one who oversees her part of the map, which are the plains of Northern Ruby Island.

Of course, if you have unlocked the Feline Seduction skill, you can try to seduce her:

She isn't as easily swayed like Blair or Luna, though. You have to do something for her to fall completely under your spell. ;3 

But when you do, your reward will be sweet:

Then, we have another very familiar face which you can find on Northern Ruby Island:

Funnily enough, she is also the only feline which you can't find immediately in their normal location. To unlock her, you first have to do a quest to find her! 

Once you have done so, you can start gaining her trust. She is also the only feline who has another feline showing up within her dialogue tree:

We've seen this once before on Southern with Medea and Gracie and this is the other instance where it happens! :3

Once you have gained her trust, she'll reward you accordingly:

Then, finally, we have one more feline on Northern which we haven't talked about yet, that being this little cutie:

She's a real cocky one, and trying to seduce her, much like Duchess, will be a task and a half. But, it is definitely possible and when you do, you can show her exactly how much of a sweet little pussy she is:

In addition to these three felines, Northern Ruby Island will have a plethora of new mini-games as well!

All of these are works in progress, but the idea for them is simple. One of the mini-games involve grabbing an item that is floating through the air while you avoid clicking on the other magical bubbles floating on the screen!

Another is a mining mini-game where you have to dig for a Sapphire. Be wary for rock slides caused by digging up too many rocks! That will collapse your site and you will have to try again!

And another one involves avoiding waves coming your way for a period of time to reach your objective! 

Once all of this is implemented and functional, Northern Ruby Island is complete! Then the only thing that is left is the ending of the game, which involves one more feline:

It's the mascot for e621 and she's also the final boss of the game! To win, you simply have to defeat her in a battle! 

This final boss will have all original animations for the attacks! If you lose, you reach a game over with a bad ending, and if you win, you beat the game and reach the good ending! 

I hope to have all of this done and ready around June/July of next year.

As you can see, Northern has a lot of content. All of these felines will get their art updated like with the characters on Southern, all mini-games will be remade from scratch with original animations like the wood and rope mini-games and all of it needs to be coded inside of the current game. 

It's why I'm really grateful to all of the support I've gotten so far! Y'all are making all of this possible, because you may realize that creating this will cost a lot of time, and a lot of money! But, I do hope, with a year or so, I'll be able to proudly present a finished copy of Feline Fantasies to y'all! :3

What happens after is entirely up for debate! A post-game is definitely not out of the question, but it all depends how much support there will be for such a thing.

For now, this will be our priority! :3

In other news, Side B has worked very hard last week in fixing all the remaining bugs on Southern. Version 1.3 should work without a fault (unless new bugs will be found). ^O^
