"This Way or No Way" thumbnails

I wanted to give you guys a peek at how I do my comics.

Everything starts with thumbnails!

I always start with quick thumbnails, plotting out the mood and flow of each page. It's actually quite messy, but once I have everything I need, I copy, paste, and ENLARGE the thumbnail to the final full-size template, and basically clean and ink from the actual thumbnail. Believe me, it is MUCH FASTER to edit everything in thumbnail stage than it is in the full-size file.

You may notice that there are SEX pages here (pages 2-7), but that pages 6 and 7 were sort of Frankensteined together... I originally had a page where Theodore had this nifty pipe pop out of his mouth while he continued to blab (he's a wordy one, that Theo), but... well... let's face it... everyone wants to see the PORN SCENES, so I gotta make cuts.

Below, I have included the BLANK THUMBNAIL TEMPLATE (thumbs.png) for any of you who have any interest in making comics. All you have to do is make a layer over it, and draw, draw, draw! The dimensions fit most comic formats once enlarged. Also, the lines below are meant for any dialog or notes that you may have for yourself.

I thought of making a tutorial, but it's really pretty standard. Hopefully this template will help someone in the future.
