"Still Vibing" Getaway Buff Tweaks + VFX Changer
Added 2025-10-14 23:35:30 +0000 UTCWhen you finish a Getaway you can get a "Still Vibing" buff. It's pretty overpowered and adds a strange VFX to your plumbob for up to an entire week. There's two versions- a normal one and a better one you get for a better getaway experience.
This mod makes these buffs shorter and less powerful and features 3 options for the VFX.
By default, the better version of the buff lasts 10 days, and the normal version lasts 3. This mod makes them last 3 days and 1 day instead.
By default, the better version of the buff makes negative moods decay 10x faster, and the normal version makes them decay 5x faster. This mod makes these 5x faster and 2x faster.
By default, the better version of the buff makes motives increase 1.15x faster, and the normal version makes them increase 1.05x faster. This mod makes these both 1.05x faster.
OPTIONAL VFX CHANGES: By default, the plumbob effect is flower petals and some sparkles. This mod makes the effect on the Sim a glowy sparkle effect I personally like better. I don't do flavors of mods anymore but for this one I've made an exception.
I like this VFX a lot personally, though it is a lot more in-your-face than the default.
There's also a file keeping the default flowery VFX, as well as one removing it entirely. Use only one file.
