Todays news is that there will be no news until tomorrow afternoon at the earliest. I just spent 2 hours carting my cat to and from the vet and I just...not today, sorry. I wasn't mentally prepared for this patch anyway.
Lightning Root Hookup Fix is no longer necessary, so you can remove it. Otherwise I haven't even updated yet.

2025-11-18 17:26:30 +0000 UTCHe has recently started licking his lips- a lot- in a way that felt concerning because it just sorta started up one day. Gave it a few weeks, still doing it. I catastrophized real bad the first day I saw it and thought all sorts of bad things were happening. Vet says his blood is all good, his temp is good, his gums are good, his teeth seem fine, he has normal breath...but he probably has anxiety, which tracks because he cries about everything all the time, it's his trademark. He cries when I leave, he cries when I get home, he cries when I go to bed, he cries when I wake up, he cries when he's done eating, he cries when he's done pooping. So he got anxiety meds and in a week or so I'll know if there's any improvements. So thankfully nothing major, but I was legitimately worried he had sudden onset oral cancer or something lol
