They are dangerous, they will create confusion for you and anyone you get support from, they are HARDER to keep updated than mods you know you downloaded because you chose to download them, and they are against pretty much all modders' TOUs. Support channels hate them! And not in a "Doctors hate this one trick" way! They legit will not help you if they know you downloaded a mod pack and will be really pissed if they don't know that but find out 2 hours into trying to help.

DO NOT EVER PRODUCE, SHARE, OR DOWNLOAD A MOD PACK FOR THE SIMS!

A mod pack will NOT make installing mods easier...because you don't know what's in it or how any of it works! You've skipped all the information, so you will not know what's working and how it's working and if it's working. A mod pack will not make updating mods easier...because it's reliant on the person who made the pack keeping it up to date, or you personally checking the mods status to update them anyway. Mod packs are the NUMBER ONE way to have outdated mods lying around in your game that you don't even know the status of because you barely know what you have!

DO NOT redistribute modder's content or package modders content together! Even for your own usage, don't merge mods together!

This is a subtweet to a video by a well known rage-bait youtuber who is upset about the "state" of Sims 4 modding, that boils down to "download mod updates is haaaaaaard how come modders dont make more complex mods just for meeeeeee also i dont like how hard it is to use the complex mods I like :( :( :( ", but also asks people to create mod packs to "make it easier".

That is dangerous rhetoric! Don't do it, and don't download from people who do!

But it's also a reminder to you, to not download, create, or share mod packs! Don't do it! I'll know! I'll know and I'll sleep paralysis demon you at 3am!
