Maille is heavy. Let it fall naturally. Lady Johnna wears so many layers.

That Sister wonβt be yawning once that sweat soaked gambeson smell is in her nose and she canβt smell anything other than Johnnaβs sweaty sweat

the maille is fitted [somewhat] and it is gathered with a belt at the waist, so it bears 'most' of the weight and not on your shoulders [if you over burden your shoulders lifting your arms to fight becomes a problem. As you move closer to the 15th Century the need for a full habergeon became less needed and voiders [maille for the parts not covered by plate] became more fashionable.
Ah, removing maile, wonderful protection, annoying to get in and out of, most accurate. I am really enjoying this series. I hope to see more with the other characters as well.

Yep bend over the bucket and let it fall. Takes a bit to get a full hauberk off.

She NEEDS all those layers, because I NEED all these pieces of art.

The blue eyed lady with blue robes is enjoying the view. lol... Other than that good details on the armor as always. Nice work!

Whatβs fun was getting somebody to put a shirt on, then ask them to take it off themselves.

I rarely had help so had to resort to the 'bend over and shake' method.
