Opening at the shoulders like that reminds me of the Munich Brigandine but it has a solid globose chest plate. There are other brigandines that have a smaller single chest plate and some small articulation plates near the arm openings. It helps with the slight exposure of 'side boob' near the arms.
I have put several 'amply endowed' women in front opening Corazzina/Brigandines before to good effect. The front opening is less sound against a lance but for foot combat the front overlap can compress when the upper arms push the sides together. That allows the wearer to have smaller openings near the arms (and less exposed side-boob)
A front opening corazzina is very good for men too but it might be the ideal armor for a lady in foot combat... and it can be covered so it looks like clothing.
