if you old SSD is intact but cant access OS you can salvage you file i did few months ago when i tried update from windows 10 to 11 by convert hard drive MBR to GPT. i lost access to OS but i manage salvage all my files by using mobile clone OS hard drive.

I recommend you using M.2 hard drive they are faster and smaller hard drive 3000 MB/sec then SATA hard drive 520MB/sec.

I think you should upload the blender files to your google drive every week for such cases.
