An overdued uPPdate!

This might be a tad long-winded, but I am here to update you all after so much time without any posts!

First, I come here with a special treat, my newest "Sketch-a-Ton" Art-pack! Inside you'll find a collection of over 600 sketches, doodles and storyboards from this last decade! (2010-2020). Paired up with my 'Finest Works' pack, you'll have the absolute creme-de-la-creme of my {hunky} body-of-work! The files are divided in SFW/NSFW folders and sorted from oldest to newest for optimal browsing! I hope you enjoy it!

Second, I don't want to linger much on this subject, but I feel like I have to clarify some things.

I have fundamentally changed as a person through the past 3 years due to what I can only refer to as a 'series of traumatic events'. Heartbreak, my mom’s passing, the pandemic, shattering my arm, loneliness, living through a fascist regime and genocide... It's really difficult to channel 'horny energy' when the world is so bleak.

I'm sure most of you noticed that my artwork isn't as NSFW as it used to be. To put it shortly; Adding to everything else, being a lonely, touch-starved person, surrounding myself with sexual imagery all-day every-day started to have a negative effect on me. I had to distance myself for my own wellbeing, I hope you’ll understand. I am NOT quitting NSFW, though. Don't worry!

During this downtime, I've had several ideas on how to improve my project in the upcoming years.

=EPIC LOADS COMIC REBOOT!

Epic Loads first concept was quite simple; I wanted to create a NSFW story that was a parody of JRPGs, every character would represent a class and it would all be very trope-y. Since then, the comic's got several chapters and over a hundred pages!

So "WHY REBOOT?"

Back then I looked out to popular NSFW comics and artists for reference, searching for all tropes and kinks possible! I wanted the comic to be "A homage to all gay comics!". Unfortunately, that led me to include some tropes without thinking them through. Some aged poorly, some are just toxic. Either way, I'd like to tweak and or remove some segments of the story.

Now, over a decade later, the EL universe has expanded, the characters are more developed, and I myself have evolved as a writer. In hindsight, I find the original script very repetitive and aimless. I want to improve the pacing and doll-out some proper exposition, so the overall quest feels more structured and purposeful.

The original comic will always have a fond place in our hearts, but I believe this will make the entire chronicles better in the long run, so I ask the readers to trust me on this.

The whole reboot starts with a re-structuring of THE ENTIRE SCRIPT. You can expect 'Volume 1' to drop sometime very soon, and I hope you’re excited to read beyond the comic's stopping point. Once the full script is ready, at least structure-wise, I'll start redrawing the Prologue and so-on.

=EPIC LOADS GUILD MASTER

ELGM Dev continues it's march! We are so close to 0.1, which marks the official Demo release! If everything goes smoothly, that should happen later this year! The next update will be out soon! About half of the visual assets are ready, but there’s still a lot of coding ahead.

0.8 should go up sometime during June/July. Featuring class change, a whole new dungeon, improved shops and more STORY! (And maybe a couple new units?)

=EDEN Q

As many of you know, Eden's Script is written all the way up to CH5, though prone to some revisions. I did draw the Epilogue and Chapter 1, which I feel are solid. So are the next couple chapter! Since EDENQ is a SFW story, I'll work on them during my ART STREAMS on Twitch! I hope the Epic Loads Fans don't mind waiting a bit more for more EL-Content, and if you haven't already, give EDEN comic a chance!

=TWITCH & Discord!

I never leave this apartment. As most people I know are getting their second shot, I will be lucky to be vaccinated this year. The isolation has been chipping away at my sanity for over a year, but thanks to Twitch, I've found a way to both distract myself and feel connected to others. Ever since I started streaming regularly for a little over 2 months, I've been feeling more grounded, inspired and hopeful.

I feel like I'm slowly but surely building myself again the strength to be my full creative self. I stream 6 days a week! Gaming & Art streams from Tuesday to Saturday and then on 'Sunday&Vibes' we do multiple activities! One of my favorites being the 'Pet-Showcase' and the 'Art-showcase', which you can submit entries to be featured! It's a time!

Furthermore I believe DISCORD is the best place to tune in to my content! Being a Patron grants you an instant invite to the 'PPServer'! I recommend you get the app on either your phone or computer! We have a wholesome growing community, dozens of channels, a "Magic School" gimmick, Weekly Tarot draws, a hot bot (his name is Troy), and MORE!
