Little late to the party. But I hope that isn't a bother! I'm glad this comic is bumping up into another arc. I was worried it would be concluding when we hit page 75. Glad to see there's a lot more to explore and learn about in this world. Rhea seems friendly enough. "Welcome to Cloud City!"

Wouldn't be the first story where anthropomorphic furries or other such strange creatures naturally (or supernaturally) exist. In fact they are not all that strange by standards of most comics. E.g. they make significantly more sense then most mutants in the “X men” do, but that's not saying much. They still look ridiculous to me. As for traits of “adult female Bovidae Sapiens”… I just wanted to point out that it does not look like a city of “all female Bovidae Sapiens": either we've seen female but without characteristic udder there or, most likely, that was male specimen. I have no doubt that they could support Alexis, I just wonder why would they want to do that. Than's obsession is just her fetish, it does not need a logical explanation, she has insanely hure breasts for one reason and one reason only: because she could (boost spread-out has probably some logical explanation, though, I don't think Than is doing that just for kicks). But if it's some kind of state-sponsored deal then such a simple explanation will not fly. Cowloon needs Alexis for something, I just have no idea what they want to do with her. But I suppose we'll know soon.

Pretty sure Ysabel is an adult, Rhea looks like an adult too. And it's possible it's a female only condition. As for supporting Alex, it's a self sufficient state. They probably have their own production facilities and it's a small population(most likely, I bet most of the place is automated), one ultra breasted woman probably won't make that much of an impact on it.

They still look ridiculous to me. I mean: motted skin with a fur? Why not: it happens in other species—why not in some human race? Multiple breasts? Sure: that happens sometimes even among “real world” humans. Udder? It's kind of strange (primates don't have udders), but Ok, I can imagine that. But combination of breasts and udder… how does THAT happen? Nature does not like such chimeras: if you have one organ for some purpose then rarely it creates another one for the same purpose in the same species! But, hey, cowgrils at least make some sense: their breasts/udders look ridiculous but they could be fully functional. Will put some serious strain on their bodies, but it's believable. Multiton breasts like Alexis and/or Than's ones? There are serious logistic problems right there: how would you deliver all the raw materials needed to produce many tons of milk each day? Humans are not designed to consume this much!

Meaning either there are a LOT of really smart women out there that wanted to be part bovine OR Bovidae Sapiens are actually a naturally occurring branch of humanity that happen to consist of all females and they're all really damn smart. Uncommon but not rare. I am not adverse to this idea. And to think, I used to dislike cowgirls.

And if I were to guess from the title "materfamilias", her position is something like a "family mother". If I were to wager a guess, this is a massive science lab composed of transhumans and they do the genetic research that allows the kind of modifications that we've seen in Ysabel and now Rhea, among others. Heh, an entire test tube filled with scientists that used themselves as experimental subjects. Oh well, I'm probably wrong on that whole "city of science run by the lab animals" angle. At least this place couldn't possibly be like Rapture...right?
