This time there's a gaming tournament happening at one of the local spots on Teranium, and the prize is something you can't resist — the latest hover-cycle model to hit the market.

Three of the crew, along with yourself, are keen to compete, but the tournament is for duos only.

Unluckily for you, Ayame has a lot of experience losing to Calderon in video games. Luckily for you, Cal and Vexx's teamwork is so atrocious that they come in dead last, leaving you and Aya to sweep in and take the top prize!

You and Aya worked as a well-balanced team, and ended up having so much fun that you almost forgot it was a competition. After test-driving your new hover-cycle, the two of you head to The Arc for a night of celebrating. Cal and Vexx challenge you both to a rematch on Oppo's game machines, where you swiftly win again and deal another blow to their already severely bruised egos.

If Ayame is your LI:
Aya is so ecstatic with you helping her to finally beat Calderon in a video game (she'll have bragging rights at least until next years tournament) that she coaxes you into dancing the night away with her (and you may or may not get carried away and spend half the night making out on the dance floor).

Two things led to you picking the Captain as your partner for the tournament. One, you know that Calderon has been playing video games since he was a kid. Two, Aya is always complaining about him kicking her ass in Unholy Knights 3, so you guess he's pretty good at them. Turns out, he's great at video games. But working in a team? Not so much.

Cal declares himself to be team leader, and with his gaming experience you're willing to overlook the fact that no one actually elected him. He ends up carrying you through most of the game, despite your protests that you know what you're doing, and have, in fact, played this game before. You manage to scrape in a win, though only by two points, with Aya and Vexx (whose teamwork was embarrassingly much better) coming in a close second.

If Calderon is your LI:
After the tournament, Cal sheepishly admits that his competitiveness got the best of him, and apologises by letting you have the hover-cycle. You convince him to come along for a test-drive, and the two of you head out to the cactus fields and make an evening of it. After racing around on the hover-cycle for a while, you spread out a blanket amongst the cacti flowers and spend the rest of the night watching the stars together.

Vexx admits that while he gamed a little as a kid, he's always been more fond of outdoor sports, and if you're looking for a win you might be best teaming up with one of the others. You assure him that you're perfectly happy with your selection, and it's not always about winning, but about having fun.

Turns out that Vexx is a natural at video games, and it's been a long time since you've seen him lose himself in something enough to start enjoying himself. After a lot of laughter, and a good amount of effort, the two of you end up placing second in the tournament behind Aya and Cal, who put their gaming rivalry aside for the day to team up and take the win.

If Vexx is your LI:
While Aya and Cal take the crew out to the cactus fields to test out their new hover-cycle, Vexx insists on taking you to dinner to make up for the loss. Together, you find a hidden restaurant down one of Teranium's side-streets with some of the most delicious food you've ever tasted (and also some of the spiciest, though that seems to be exactly to Vexx's taste). Afterwards, you take your time heading back to the ship, holding hands as you slowly walk the streets of Nos Vega, wishing the night would never end.
