Variables and Story-Altering Choices | Royalty vs. Independence

It's pretty obvious from what's available to play so far, that making the choice between wanting to remain royal, or wanting more independence for yourself, separate from Nerissa and the crown, has shaped many of the scenes we've seen in the latest episodes.
These choices, along with others, will have a major impact on the end of the game, but there are also smaller changes that they create as you play, which you might not always notice.
In the code above we've shown snippets from Damon and Cal's intimate scenes in Episode 9, that show a difference in how things play out depending on what kind of choices you've made so far.
By using variables like this, which we'll also be slowly adding into earlier episodes as development continues, it's our hope that you'll find something new every time you play the game!
