I'm SO happy with this one. I can't even really explain it. I just... I love it so much, haha.
This was Patron Bex's first sponsor reward. More than a little late, but she was wonderfully understanding of everything.
Bex's idea was an irish wolfhound to fit into my dogs-only universe, based off of her own, actual dog, named Ty. She's a competitive runner, but models fetish gear on off days and for fun. She's not just an Irish Wolfhound, either - she's actually Irish. Bex says she would have a wonderful accent.
She's basically a sponsored NPC, rather than Bex's own character, so I might toss her into someone's story somewhere. With her dedication to her physical form, Blaine's a nice candidate, but that feels a bit easy, honestly... and Bex asked me to avoid gore/snuff with her, so I don't want to build too far in that direction.
Instead... I've actually been thinking about another character, also an Irish Wolfhound, as a bit of an antagonist for Blaine. His name is Seamus (shay-mus), and he's a detective.
Slight tangent - I picked this name a long time ago, but googling it now to confirm spelling... apparently shamus is a word for detective? I don't recall knowing that before now, like, at all... but I'm just going to assume that I knew that and forgot. The alternative is a downright terrifying coincidence.
Anyway, my Seamus is detective who befriends Blaine, probably in some bar. They've met before, but not as peers - Seamus has investigated Blaine several times as a suspect for different crimes, and arrested him twice, but never had enough evidence for more than that. This time, in the bar, they're on common ground - so Blaine pulls from his stash of Pedestrian Charisma, and, with the help of some gin, wins him over. They bond over being from the UK.
Back to this lady - I think Seamus would be a lover of hers. Maybe she's a purist that way, and wouldn't date outside her breed. I wonder what implications that would have in this setting...
I think she would know who Blaine is, and vice versa, but they've never spoken directly; they're both just idly curious about the other, with Seamus being a bit stuck in the middle. He tells Blaine about her because that' the Guy Thing to do, and tells her about Blaine because he has this nagging suspicion that he's hiding something. It's quite the triangle.
These ideas are all fairly loose, but I'm excited about them! Worldbuilding keeps me going honestly.
Completely unrelated, I'm really considering doing some prints of this piece... I just love how it came out. What do you think? They'd be mini prints, at 5x7 inches. I've never done anything like that, but maybe it'd be a cool experiment!
That's all for now ^^
