Tiny Update! Less early access

Just a small text post! This is public - hi everyone ^^ 

I'm gonna be letting go of early access as an explicit Patreon reward. 

When I first made my Patreon, I added it because I figured I'd be doing fewer, more detailed pictures, and so it'd be easy to keep track of things. These days, though, that's not the case. I do so many smaller things, delaying sharing that by 1-3 weeks is just a huge logistical pain. 

It's also an issue now that I'm using Discord, especially as frequently as I update there. Since not everyone's in the server, not everyone who pays for early access gets the same early access, and that feels kind of like false advertising. And, since I'm not doing something like sequential art or a comic, where it's really cool to see the story unfold ahead of everyone else, I don't believe there's a huge point to it. 

There are apps like PostyBirb which would let me schedule EA, but that's just adding even more logistics, for not much extra value on your end. 

Removing it won't make a huge difference to my supporters, I don't think! Sometimes you'll get early access anyway, just by nature of me being slow to post stuff to FA and Twitter. It's just that that will be a fun bonus, rather than a promise. That way I'm not misrepresenting how I run things to any potential new patrons. 

In light of this, I'll just focus on more exclusive access. I'm not quite at the point of making whole pieces exclusive, but things like some of my doodles and WiPs will remain patrons-only. That's much easier for me to do, and maybe more exciting for y'all anyway.

Some other stuff

I'm still working on those VIP tiers! It's looking like they'll be a little simpler than I thought, but they're also totally optional, so perhaps that's okay. And I already have some amazing patrons who choose to support me at the same level I'm planning to make those VIP tiers, so, if nothing else, I can use it to give them a bit more recognition! Plus, I can always build on them later. 

Since I'm not doing early access so explicitly, I've already added the third art sponsor teir, and the VIP tiers are on their way, I've taken down my goal for now! I'm pretty sure I will be switching to community based goals - so number of  patrons, not number of dollars - since that makes  more sense for how I want to run this thing. I have an idea of something I can work towards, but I want to sit on it a bit more!
