Happiness only real when shared

After watching the movie called "Into the Wild" I had a really deep thoughts about the life and how happiness means something different for every person. The quote from the title had a really strong impact on me.

"Happiness only real when shared".

I think it's true. It's important to have someone to share a good news with. To share happy moments or breathtaking views. To share happiness...

For my whole life this person was my mother. I could see that she really felt my happiness and was happy for me. No matter what. I remember our long walks in the mountains when we talked about everything but we also enjoyed silence and the beautiful sunsets.

In May I took her for our last trip. We sat for hours on this meadow from which you can see this little deer. But now it's only a memory. She passed away in July. The month of my birthday. This weekend I went for the same trip... alone.

My tears wet the soil we were sitting on not that long ago. I had a strange feeling that this roe-deer could feel my pain. It wasn't affraid of me... we were just looking at eachother for seemed like forever.

Now I have only my Grandma left and I feel extremely lonely. I am really glad I can share my happiness with you. Without this I don't know if I'd be alive much longer. Thank you for being here, thank you for every message you send me and THANK YOU for letting me believe my photos can mean something more and be something that will stay forever.

Love, Erinthul.

I'm sorry to hear about your mother. Your vulnerability in your photography and writing is not only beautiful, but also inspiring.

Not much to ad, as usual beautiful pictures of you both with and without the nice dress and of nature❣️

I feel like your art becomes felt, becomes shared, at an intersection between nature, grief and femininity. Grief is suffered alone, but you are also finding a way of sharing your experience through metaphor and naked honesty, by way of becoming honest with nature, capturing stunning images that heighten the grandeur of the Polish landscape. The philosopher Spinoza equated what some people used to refer to as ‘god’ with the experience of ‘nature’, of untamed, wild, inhuman nature. It feels like you are presenting us a vision of what this idea of ‘nature beyond humanity’ looks like when you juxtapose your human form against the raw experience of trees, rocks and the changing of seasons. Thank you for being so open with your art and your grief, it resonates powerfully.
