In the headlights

I was planning this photos for a long time and I finally had a chance to do it. In my mind I had this concept of a figure standing on a road in the forest. Almost as if she was following the car. There's only two photos because it was just a quick experiment but I'll definietly come back for more.

I really like photos showing just a black silhouette but this time I wanted to reverse it and make it white. It was quiet easy with my pale skin but now I am wondering if I could show more details. I'll have to try that next time but for now I'd love to know your opinion and some feedback before next try.

Love, Erinthul.

you could try a 3 or 5 frame HDR. Then you should be able to make the adjustments all in post

It takes a bit of post-processing, but that would certainly work. All it needs is a small change in brightness.

Parky

Yeah, I tried that but then the trees weren't that visible. I thought about merging two photos together

Thank you :)

Erinthul

Yeah, when I'll have more time I'll play with this light a bit more :)

Erinthul

Thank you kindly! I'll definietly play with this kind of light more :)

Interesting concept. I like it. It's simple yet has depth and mystery with the darkness behind you. I wonder how it would look if you speed up the shutter just enough to get a little contrast and detail on you. Not too much, though. You could lose the feel of the current scene by going too far.

Haunting images ❣️

I like the contrast of you and your shadow in the first picture, wonder how it would look if it was more prevalent.

I like the idea of this shoot! It’s a little too bright but that also makes you look more ethereal and less human so in that way it works very well. You’re very talented and I like to see how you experiment with so many ideas.

Chris

Pretty haunting. Ghostly. It's almost too bright

Steven Niehaus

Wow! That's a really good ideas!! Thank you so much!

I think there's a lot you could do with your headlights. Maybe a picture taken from behind you with the car in shot headlights shining on you. Or a shot taken from inside the car from the drivers pespective or from the drivers perspective standing behind the drivers door as if wanting to investigate. I imagine the driver has stopped in awe and fear and you as a succubus, alluring yet sinister. Maybe experiment with poses and expressions.
