Baba Yaga's Hollow

Once, Baba Yaga lived at the edge of a village. She healed the sick, whispered to crows, and knew the names of every herb. But when crops failed and storms came, the villagers blamed her.

“Leave,” they said. “Your magic brings misfortune.”

So she packed her things and vanished into the mountains, finding a cave where moss grew thick and silence ran deep.

Years passed.

Now, those lost in the forest sometimes find her— stirring her pot, offering help without judgment.

The village never speaks her name, but still… they leave gifts at the forest’s edge.

Recently I wanted to sew something new for my photoshoots. I had some wool from a dress I bought but decided that I wanted to challenge myself and do something completely new. I am incredibly proud of how it turned out and although it still needs a few tweakments, I couldn't wait to show it to you. I had a day off so I went on a trip to a place you might know from a "skarbnik" photoshoot from a few years back.

The dress is 100% wool with hand embroidery. I knitted the belt as well and it's from Icelandic wool gifted to me by a friend. Hope you'll like it and if you have any ideas for future photoshoots in this outfit - please let me know!

Love, Erinthul.
