Added error handling and verification steps for task creation/deletion
Added a option for the user to choose what profile the application need to start with.
( HowlVenger request π)Added a option to choose the keyboard shortcut between F1 & F12
(Jay Jay, you can now customise which key you want π)Fixed the Auto mode refreshing with the GUI Refresh rate applied in settings

Fixed window scaling and layout issues
Fixed the iGPU error in the GUI where it would show 0% when the load was <1%
Logging System
Enhanced logging system to provide more detailed information
Added comprehensive logging for startup task operations
Improved error reporting with full stack traces and inner exception details
Added logging for settings changes and task scheduler operations
Next Steps π
I'm continuing to monitor these changes and I'll post the update for you asap. β€οΈ
My focus remains on bugfixes, stability and user experience at the moment, I'll try to add a high contrast mode and a minimize button too.
Thank you for your continued support!
How to reset what the program has done (if you need it ):
Steps:
Open Command Prompt as Administrator:
Press Win + S, type cmd, right-click on "Command Prompt," and select "Run as administrator."
Enter the Command:
Paste the command:
powercfg -restoredefaultschemes
Confirm:
Press Enter. This will reset all power plans to Windows default settings.
Note:
This will delete any custom power plans you have created. Make sure to back up your specific settings if needed before running this command.

2025-01-08 18:21:38 +0000 UTCLooking forward to see this program 'grow'! I have some things on top of my head, ideas/suggestions if you will :) you can throw them away if you want, these are just random ramblings in the end. thanks for a cool little app! #UI issues (maybe?) - my close button "x" is not centered but small in the bottom right corner of the button, not in the middle - contrast between color and text/icon is for me a bit close, perhaps toning down the color a little, or maybe switch to black text on the colored background, and then white, a bit thicker icons instead to keep the visual 'hierarchy' between text and icon? - also for me the contrast between selected/unselected for power profiles and refresh rates is a bit hard to see/discern - the battery level is for me constantly one percent less than what is reported by both Windows and HWInfo64 (probably due to rounding down instead of up?) # Features/UI questions/ideas: - is it necessary to change the default powercfg plans/profiles instead of adding new ones (I wasn't told clicking a preset would replace my current windows power plan, e.g. Balanced/Framework-Balanced, nor does it tell me exactly what is being changed inside those plans. That goes for other settings too, if they are being changed to something - what do they change to? But I don't know how that could be incorporated nicely in the UI sorry :p) - Since you're labeling your brightness slider, would it be coherent or cluttered to do that on power profiles+refresh rates+battery too? or instead make the ui design and text for brightness be the same as for the monitor bars but of course still separated as of now? maybe using the design language of the windows quicksettings tray would be an idea, a sun logo to the left of the slider? additionally, the battery visualization could mimic the design language of the other bars for consistency? idk :p - thinking of padding the monitor numbers instead of directly following the colon/category but to be aligned with the other numbers above/below - are temperature values dynamic? could they be? should they be? :p - brightness "group" has double "windows", a unique light gray and also darker gray as the rest? - run in background/system tray (you allude to that yourself i think?) - movable window by dragging the top area? - app auto updatable? i wasn't really sure what the updates manager did before clicking on it, is it for the app, for installed win apps, something else? and i'm sorry, but not a big fan of the "jokes" when searching for updates, they are a bit unprofessional to me <3 - color customization? great color to start with though, orange is my favorite ;)
