I'm team Spending New Year's Eve Alone as well! Barring any last minute plans, it's gonna be me, my tv and the basque burnt cheesecake I'm attempting to bake. ✨️ I'm always down for more sleep aids. I did sparkling sangria for Christmas. I just added chopped fruit. It was delicious. The sparkling rosé is good as well. I've done a rosé lemonade and it's tasty. It's equal parts sparkling rosé and lemonade over ice, garnished with lemon slices. 🍸

I have thoughts but am also sleepy, so I’m just going to say that I’ll be spending NYE with a few friends and their kids - we eat some party food and fake a countdown nice and early for the kids’ sake, then everyone will be gone by 9? We’ve done it a few times and it’s nice cause we get to see friends but also if you’re exhausted (it’s 2022 and I work in healthcare) you can be in bed by 10pm if you want. I hope you’ve all had nice holidays, whatever and however you celebrate. Pretty amazing that we’re going into year 3 together here.

hello hello, hope everyone is warm and well (or cool and well if appropriate) I quite like this patreon space, because I think there's something warm in our hearts that we all have in common (which led us to this space (where we pay money to support this one guy (who brings out the warmth in us))) I'm feeling grateful this holiday season and similarly soft and sensitive~ I've got a surgery right after the new year for the chronic illness that's messed me up for the past 2 years or so, and I'm just focusing on living a full and peaceful life til then. In the past year as I've been REALLY sick at home, it's like all the layers of my life and my psyche were stripped back, and I've gradually discovered what was at the core. Turns out it's that whole "inner child" thing???? It honestly feels like I re-derived my whole personality from first principles, and this new year is the precipice of a new phase for me. I've made little personalized gifts for all my friends! It's made me so happy because I love being inspired by my loved ones, and I get to flex my art skills and feel more like myself. My little dog is snoring VERY robustly right now. I'm gonna go make some yuzu citron tea. Sending love 🧡
