LSD Dream Emulator/Lovely Sweet Dream
Added 2023-09-13 12:00:06 +0000 UTCSo this video is pretty weird and probably something I'll never have a chance to do again. It's actually more about the artbook/dream diary that came with LSD Dream Emulator when it was originally released in Japan back in 1998.
One of the devs had been keeping a dream diary, and they published excerpts from it along with a bunch of artwork in a special edition artbook that also had English translations of most of the dreams.
So the first part of this video is my usual rundown of the game, but a large portion of the runtime is me reading all of the English dream diary entries. And that took about 50 minutes. Dungeon Chill Storytime.
I don't know how people are going to feel about it, but it felt like the right thing to do while I was making it. Maybe people can fall asleep to it. I'd actually be honored if that's the case.
One other thing, I decided to put ALL of the Patron names near the beginning of the video. We're getting more members, and I didn't feel it was right to leave anyone out. However, Architect and Connoisseur tier members now get their names read out loud at the end of videos. And I'll be doing this from now on. The tier descriptions say that now too. Hope everyone is cool with that change.
