I had to watch the other parts before this and it took me some while to understand the story. It was very upsetting that Shoto choose a "clone" of the listener and didn't comply to the listener's wishes. What he did was wrong. however I could empathize to his situation because sometimes we can be selfish and its hard to let go of the people we love. Moreover Shoto seemed like he wasn't in the right mind due to years (which i assume from the storyline) of being in this situation. If i put myself in the listeners position as much as I would be sad and angry that he "betrayed" the listener, I don't think I would have the heart to be mean to Shoto. I most probably would not be able to forgive him right away but I would love him too much to hurt him :( I guess it would leave a big scar in my heart but still I don't want him to get hurt. Since in this chapter? the listener forgives Shoto I wish in the future they would be able to talk about it and mend their scars :(. Props to Cece for making such a interesting storyline!

Now this... this is interesting! I made a tiny little talk about this series a little while back on the community tab and honestly this has turned out differently than what I excepted. But it still strikes my heart strings with vigorous passion, regret, drama, and devotion.. The opening itself felt so surreal, and him in his own thoughts and illusions so clear and vivid that he could practically see his old friends and others from the past there with him. It’s so heartbreaking to hear him tear himself apart over his selfishness. But of course I’d agree to the notion of not completely forgiving Shoto for his blindsided mistakes and complete disregard for his Listener’s wishes, well not so soon at least, but it still sorta fits having two broken people desperately clinging to each other, mending together their tattered souls into one and that honestly takes the cake for me in terms of Love/Angst. But I’m interested to see how this would play out, because after living through such traumatic events, could their lives just go back to normal? A bit of healing, bonding, and hell maybe some counseling would work just nicely lol. Especially with Epidemic still using Shoto for him to fulfill his promise.. the plot only thickens from here and I can hardly wait for the next part. (Oh and with the involvement of Kai (Overhaul) in this route, I wonder how things will play out with him and his listener. Perhaps the threat of his and his Angel’s live being in danger reforms his desperate need to protect them? Maybe a bit of Protective Dom Kai? Maybe subconsciously bringing Asmodeus back? 👀 )

Okay so listening to this for the second time, especially after binging the whole Shoto story for the 4th time last week, I kinda wanted to give some defense for our poor icyhot cause there’s a general consensus that he can’t be forgiven... In the story, Shoto partners with Shigaraki to find a cure, but Shigaraki explicitly says he’s giving Shoto drugs that will specifically make him more agreeable and make it so he goes a little mad like Shigaraki. Now, that doesn’t excuse the actions he took at all, BUT I thoroughly believe the Shoto that we’ve been listening to for a while isn’t REALLY him. His judgement has been clouded by whatever Shigaraki gave him while experimenting with his own mad scientist shit. The part in this audio where the listener tells Shoto that he’s crazy and maybe he can be fixed too just hit me a little different the second time, and it brought me back to that plot point. Like maybe the listener finally realized that for the past month or so (? approximately if my story timeline is right ?) that Shoto hasn’t been in complete control of himself... Idk, just my theory. I’d really like it if that’s the case and Kai really can fix both Shoto and the listener so they’re healthy and of sound mind, because I miss the innocence that Shoto’s route used to have. I know even if they both get healed, there’s still going to be a lot of angst in this route, but I’m also low key hoping they just drop and run like Hawks and his listener are trying to do. They both have been through way too much to have to go crawling back to Epidemic when they have the opportunity to ditch out.

i haven’t completely followed the series but it’s basically like y/n and todoroki are abt to get married but on their wedding day y/n is poisoned by something and they gradually start to get sicker and sicker. todoroki becomes desperate and does things like making a deal w/ epidemic?? shigaraki?? idk but basically in exchange for helping todoroki with y/n, todoroki has to be like a test subject?? either way both of them deteriorate (y/n physically and todoroki physically and mentally), at one point i think y/n just begs him to let them die but todoroki refuses and y/n eventually becomes like a monster who feeds on todoroki but he still refuses to let y/n die because he still has hope and continues to do whatever it takes to get monster y/n better but eventually epidemic?? or whoever comes to him and says he’ll give todoroki a clone of y/n so that he can have like the “old y/n before this whole thing happened” in exchange for monster y/n and from then on todoroki is just chill and happy w/ clone y/n until this audio it seemed like todoroki was happy w/ clone y/n and seems like not worried abt monster y/n anymore?? that’s like gist of it

I also could never be Shouto's listener, as I stopped listening to his storyline around when he and the listener gets married on the boat and we're poisoned (or whatever happens I really can't recall). I didn't like the dark direction his storyline was headed, which is another one of the reasons why I stayed away and just listened to the others storylines that are tied together in the main storyline as I call it.

I’ve been listening to shoto’s story line for the past week or so and let me tell you me, this whole line is a goddamn roller coaster of pure bred emotions I didn’t know I could ever feel. To be so incredibly pissed off at someone but still feel that undying love for them. Also I need to know what the hell Epidemic did to my man Dabi cause ??? I remember there was something in Bakugo’s route I think about Dabi standing behind Epidemic and looking kind of out of it for some reason, and unless I’m missing something, I don’t know if that’s talked about in Dabi’s route. Ahhhhh this is one of the most intriguing fanfic crossovers and I’m so hooked on the story everyone has. So for anyone wondering about Shotos route and what you missed in the 16 other parts yagami yato explained it in her discord so I copied what she said and here y’all go : 🔊🔊🔊🔊 ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ After meeting and falling in love, eventually you and shoto decide to get married, but your wedding day ends with a horrible situation, you fall ill due to a virus that was transferred by endeavor on accident. In an attempt to cure us, shoto gets progressively more obsessssd, eventually making a deal with shiggy, turning into an absolutely singularly purposed man who wants nothing more than to save them, in desperation he tries to cure them with the help of Shiggy, things go wrong and the listener becomes a sort of vampire, but ends up not wanting to exist due to the pain and still close to dying, shoto couldn’t accept this and took them to epidemic who offered him a chance to have a clone of them, without the bad and traumatic memories, which he reluctantly chose hoping it would give them a new body. After awhile the guilt got to him and he couldn’t take it, abandoned the clone(which was actually just a hallucination that formed via epidemic’s quirk. After shoto confronts him, he trades his allegiance after being caught and understanding epidemic because otherwise he loses them. Reluctantly, but willing to lose it all he walks them out toward a mission to get to Kai in hopes of a cure. ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ Other parts on shotos playlist on her YouTube channel
