How Many OnceUponATime Videos Should There Be?
Added 2023-09-19 16:00:05 +0000 UTCListen gang, I can't do one video that is 14 hours long. I mean. I can. I don't particularly want to. Which leaves me with the conundrum of how best to split the 7 seasons of the show into multiple videos.
Keep in mind, splitting them into more videos means getting more uploads more quickly, but of course they will be shorter. (Assume 2-3 hours per season discussed, somehow. I don't know why that's how long it takes but here we are.)
Please vote for the option that brings you the most joy and feel free to comment any further defense you want to make for your choice! (I'm personally leaning towards a minimum of 3 videos but I'm down to hear any opinions to the contrary).

Season 7 is definitely gonna need its own video, but otherwise I think 2 seasons a video would be prime consumable content for the masses

2023-09-20 22:27:20 +0000 UTCI'm going with 4. I think if you do 7 videos, then viewership will drop across the series to the degree that maybe all seven videos might not see the same return as fewer would.

2023-09-19 16:31:20 +0000 UTCI feel like for your sake there's a middle ground of mental fatigue between 7 one-season uploads where it could feel like getting bogged down, versus two enormous multi-season uploads. Maybe 3 is the magic number? Like, seasons 1-3, then 4-5, then bringing it home with 6 & 7? Whatever you decide, I'll be happy to check it out π

2023-09-19 16:10:11 +0000 UTCI feel like 4 videos with season 7 being seperate has got to be the way to go. Season 7 is just so seperate from the rest of the show. Also I donβt know why but in my head Iβve kind of always grouped up season 1 & 2, 3 & 4, and 5 & 6. In theory you could also potentially have video number 4 be season 7 and also once upon a time in wonderland.
