Did I just buy patreon membership just so I could watch this video? Yes I did. Do I need to save money right now? Yes I do. Do I regret my desition? No. I would do it happily again. What a legend you are miss Whipjack.❤️ Also on a sidenote I was obsessed with the show when it was coming out and like 80% of it was because of Captain Swan (when I was arguably too young to understand some implications of their relationship). So when you say that no one remembers 2nd season I probably rewatched it the most, just because of Hook 😂 But these videos help me remember how batshit crazy those storylines are and we are not even in the 4th season yet 😅

It's me just adding my thoughts about the video/show whenever I have them to one long post instead of making like. 20. WAIT URSULA WAS IN THIS SEASON??? .....oh nvrmnd NO WAIT SHE IS??? wtf wtf wtf this is wild for the later seasons i had no idea she had already showed up as some wacky molten/liquid gold sea goddess????? Oh my fuckn gawd I FORGOT THE BODY SNATCHER BIT ahh i forgot because they take the super interesting plot idea and solve it ine like one episode. boo. no joke ur commentary made me go find the show on a streaming service i have access to and watch part of it i used to draw that wishing well when i was bored in school, or like what i vagauly remembered it looking like, which was semi hexagonal (or maybe octagonal) with a glowing green core. "loves you more than his own son,........ OR presumably the woman he had that son with. they haven't mentioned her once. we have no clue who that was." Also (spoilers): The one thing that gets me about the end of season 3 act 1 is the PARALLEL FLASHBACKS they do with Emma and Henry pre and post “new memories”. Where the first time Emma says “I can’t be a mother” and the second time she says “wait….. let me hold him”. JUST LIKE HOW REGINA DID WHEN SHE ADOPTED HIMMMMMMM AND WAS GONNA GIVE HIM AWAY! SHE KNEW WHAT TO GIVE EMMA BECAUSE SHE FELT THE SAME WAY AND UGHHHHH. Hey ladies indeed, Mx Whipjack, Hey ladies indeed

2024-03-17 03:31:04 +0000 UTCjust finished binging this, absolutely incredible first half, i laughed SO much and am wildly impressed that you managed to recap the entirety of 3a in just 2 hours. Spoilers also i am obsessed with the journey you've gone on irt your feelings on regina. what an absolute mood. literally every time you mentioned her i wound up shouting "EXACTLY." her sulking in the background DOES elevate every scene and she is SO hot and she loves her son so so much and the adoption flashbacks make me tear up a little every time (also whoops accidental wall of text incoming, truly this show does bring out the 2011 tumblrina in me, i have so many thoughts about it (and regina (+ emma) specifically that i Cannot contain) i know it's completely not intentional on the show's part, but i absolutely can't get over the way that everything about the way regina acts towards emma in 3a and the particular type of comments she makes sniping at hook and neal, combined with the trajectory of her development and the development of her relationship with emma + their scene in the midseason finale--it all accidentally adds up to seeming like regina caught feelings for emma and doesn't know how to cope like she spends the whole time with the charmings finding ways to get emma's attention while dodging or insulting pretty much everyone else but tink, and frankly the way she snarks both at hook and neal and at emma *about* hook and neal really really reads (to me, at least) as jealousy. i know that the argument she starts before she splits off from the group is genuinely entirely about not wanting to delay searching for henry, but the way she phrases things and the way lana acts in that scene really makes it seem like she's specifically disappointed in/feeling hurt or betrayed by emma (in regina's eyes) prioritizing neal over henry. (and again, i KNOW it wasn't the writers' intention, they were Not Subtle about what ships they wanted the audience to ship on this show lol, but they did nevertheless know that people were shipping sq and had been from the beginning and definitely started to make some Choices this season, and now here we are) anyway tldr it has been a decade and i am still not over how incredibly bisexual regina is this season or her big gay extremely (badly) repressed crush on emma can't wait for the second half!!! i am primarily a sq fan but i do actually really like robin hood (not a little bit because regina is my favorite character, if i hadn't made that obvious lmao) and 3b is one of my favorite arcs in the entire show, so i am SUPER excited to see you talk about it!! i wish you luck and creative ease while working on it, and i am deeply sorry for how long this comment is lol
