What will be new in the next 1.8.0 update?

Hey everyone!

It’s time to vote for the next major feature to be included in the upcoming update.
This time, the goal is clear: to strengthen the game’s foundations through a deep rework.

Three options are on the table — it’s up to you to decide which one should take priority:

Code rework:

The game has grown with every update, to the point where the codebase has become complex, heavy, and difficult to maintain. This slows down development and increases the risk of bugs (as you may have noticed in the last update).

This option aims to completely overhaul the core of the game to make it more stable, easier to expand, and open the door to advanced features and community-made mods.

It’s a long-term investment that could transform how the game evolves in the future.

Reworked preferences system:

The current preferences system works, but it feels a bit rough and disconnected from the actual gameplay.

The goal here is to reintegrate it more organically into the experience by introducing a new character.

This character would guide the player through their preferences in a smooth, immersive way, directly through interactive scenes — without relying on a separate interface right from the start.

Reworked Academy building:

The Academy was the very first building modeled in the game, and its age is starting to show.

This rework would modernize its appearance, enhance its atmosphere, and make it feel more alive — taking advantage of all the 3D modeling improvements made since the start of the project.

If time allows, additional interactions will be added to breathe more life into the location.
